As fashion embraces more innovative and sustainable practices, there are now ways to rework what you already own and make it feel new again. That’s exactly the case for Vhong Navarro.
Vhong Navarro Reworks His Louis Vuitton Duffle Bag Into Custom Jackets
Vhong had a duffle bag from Louis Vuitton turned into one-of-one denim jackets. The distinguishable carrier is a heritage piece of the French luxury fashion house, embodying its iconic monogram print and structural body.
Judging by the looks of it, Vhong seems to have had the piece for a long time, which is unsurprising, given the investment-worthy nature of the maison. He brought it to Revibe Culture for a unique kind of makeover.
Revibe documented the process, showing how they carefully held and cut the leather. Its pieces were skillfully attached to two denim jackets, utilizing them as adornments at the backs and the pockets. It certainly added pizzazz to the otherwise basic garments.
What Is Revibe Culture?
“When letting go isn’t an option, we revibe,” says the text written on Revibe’s video with Vhong. The studio categorizes itself as a sustainable fashion brand that creates “art you can wear” by “breathing new life into timeless fabrics.” Apart from aforementioned customizations, they also live out this mission with their ready-to-wear collection that consists of sweaters, shorts, bucket hats, and the like—all of which are also one-of-one.

As seen in their Instagram highlights, Vhong is not the sole member of the It’s Showtime family who frequently goes to Revibe. Jhong Hilario, Ryan Bang, and Vice Ganda appear to be fans as well.
