The cooler months are finally upon us! And if you're planning a trip somewhere up north or or out the country to fully take advantage of that December breeze, then Uniqlo's newest collaboration with JW Anderson has got your basic needs covered!
Inspired by the Great British Outdoors, the London-based brand's fourth line with Uniqlo sees a mix between "traditional British elements with modern designs." Dominated by cozy outerwear rendered in Nordic styles, Jonathan Anderson sought to craft a fresh, fun take on the traditional patterns that marked his childhood. Included in the collection then are reversible coats in classic tones accented with splashes of color and familiar tartan patterns.
“Like all the seasons I’ve done with Uniqlo, it’s always interesting to see the collection evolve through meetings with the teams and see it become this amalgamation of LifeWear and JW Anderson," Jonathan says. "I liked this idea of pops of color to make the heritage British patterns and colors feel a bit more modern. Contrasting pops of color and tartan are very present.”
