We may not have been able to step out and enjoy the summer sun while it lasted, but at least we could get a taste of it through our wardrobe choices! Fashion girls, brace yourselves because Uniqlo just released its latest J.W. Anderson collection for Spring/Summer 2020, and it’s all kinds of sunny.
This season, Jonathan Anderson is bringing his clean, modern aesthetic to the Japanese retailer by way of reinterpreted British summer classics. Think gathered blouses, tiered skirts, and sleeveless dresses rendered in colorful gingham prints and wearable everyday neutrals like navy blue and fresh white. The theme is “British Country Style,” but the pieces are more than appropriate for the Philippine heat, as they feature roomy silhouettes and breathable fabrics. As always, you can rely on Uniqlo to provide comfort.
And, since we’re ushering in the “new normal,” you should know that the collection also includes outerwear like genderless pocketable parkas, longline coats, and cotton reversible parkas that can serve as protective gear when you need to step outside.
