Unfurgivable Strip and PETA campaign against fur at Prive.

Last week’s installment of the Prive Style Series had STRIP: Ministry of Waxing teaming up with PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) in the fight against fur—be it the fuzz on your lady parts or the fluff on your fashion.

To bring the statement home, they had a number of Manila’s hottest strip down for the lens of Miguel Miranda for an exhibit of black and white portraits. The likes of Jasmine Curtis-SmithIsabel Roces, Phoemela Barranda, Nina Estaco, Kylie Padilla, Ornusa Cadness, Roshni Hemlani, CJ Jaravata, Xtina, Kit Barraquias, Laureen UyXeng Zulueta and Radio Djs Sam YG, Slick Rick and Toni Tony of Boys Night Out posed in the nude. While the gals had the jewelry, bags, and accessories of Martin Bautista, Gabriel MartelNicole Whisenhunt, Joyce Makitalo, Trousseau by Reshma, and Princess Peacock to pose with, the three boys cheekily had nothing but bow ties and pussy cats on their laps.

And as additional entertainment to the exhibit and cocktails, Maggie Wilson-Consunji (who looks amazing while pregnant, by the way) showed her line of daring swimwear, Wanderlust, worn by Joey Mead, Sanya Smith, Ornusa Cadness and Kit Barraquias. It definitely made the need to get working on that summer bod more imperative.

STRIP also announced that they will be donating P50 to PETA for every Brazilian wax treatment done from January 13 until March 31 of this year. So when you set an appointment, just think of that bit of good to help make the pain of waxing totally worth it.
