When the days grow longer and the temperatures soar, there’s only one print we all reach for to celebrate the summer sun: floral. This season, the floral print is blown to epic proportions making a bold counterpart to its dainty cousin.
We first spotted them on international runways like Peter Pilotto and Peter Som’s Spring/Summer 2012 collections, where their playful prints were offset by structured silhouettes. Blumarine, however, took on a more excessive approach to the print as their looks not only featured giant flowers on their clothes, but popped up on their shoes and as earrings, too.
On the local scene, we’ve been spotting the print on seasoned fashionistas and bloggers alike. Eric de los Santos, Chris Diaz, and Jun Jun Cambe have also incorporated the trend into some of their looks during Philippine Fashion Week.
