Before her hit TV series, movies, and iconic Michael Cinco debut, Julia Barretto was literally just Julia. Fresh-faced, flawless, and beautiful, the then 16-year-old girl was timid and quite nervous on the set of our June 2013 cover shoot. She had told the team that she's a huge fan of Preview and couldn't believe that she'd land a solo cover so soon. Given how the young actress was such a natural on cam, the hours flew by. She had no bad angles. Styled by Liz Uy, this was a departure from the oftentimes glamorous and over-the-top cover shoots we've done. Julia's cover was very casual, cool, and raw. (Did you notice how we even left her white Doc Martens untied?)
