Manila Fashion Festival’s Fall/Winter 2016 presentation wrapped up at EDSA Shang last night and looking back, there’s one trend that truly reigned supreme: wide legged trousers. Seen everywhere in the international streetstyle department and the recently concluded fashion weeks across the globe, it was only natural for our local talents to show their iterations of the loose style. The seventies is definitely not done taking spotlight since last year's comeback, and has now been reinvented to fit our millennial needs. Clearly, that era’s groovy flare is this year’s chic essential.
Medida by Mark Tamayo and Nino Angeles hands down, wins best in variety of the style.
He sent an army full of flares down the runway with his supply of palazzos. He had it all from crisp white, denim, pleats, and more!
Cheetah Rivera’s gray jumpsuit made a splash.
This white Arin has summer 2016 written all over it.
Not only did the styling get our attention, but Brit Tripudio’s play on fabric and design scored the bottoms big style points, too.
Move over skinny jeans, we’re feeling #breezy with the wide leg variety. Launch the gallery to see more.
