You read that right.

It is, quite literally, your time to shine. Local fashion designer Mary Anne Casanova has become the first in the Philippines to create glow-in-the-dark evening gowns, and you won't be able to take your eyes off them!

The dresses are made of fiber optic fabric, allowing them their bioluminescent glow.

Here's another look:

Okay, so this is how it works. Trivia: The material is made of ultra-thin optical fibers interwoven with synthetic ones, specially processed in order to allow light to be emitted along the fabric's full length. The optical fibers are then connected to ultra-bright LEDs (kind of like charging a phone!), which then inject light into the fabric. The light is distributed evenly across the entire surface of the fabric, resulting in a self-illuminating textile that doesn't heat up and is totally washable. Our minds are blown.
