You know how people like to leave comments on celebrities’ social media accounts even though there’s an unlikely chance to get a reply? They stalk them on Instagram, follow them on Twitter, and then write down some nasty comments for the whole world to see. Sometimes it can leave you wondering, do these big stars even bother to read the shitty things people say about them? The answer is, yes, they do.
Here’s an interesting example—Taylor Swift.
A few months ago, American late-night comedy show Saturday Night Live aired a mock ad for a so-called medicine “Swiftamine.” Apparently, this should help people combat vertigo caused by hearing a Taylor Swift song. The video even described the music superstar as someone who’s “always wearing, like, a 1950s bathing suit.” It also mentioned how the Swiftamine pill is a fast-acting antihistamine tablet that’s pink and bubbly, just like Taylor herself.
At first we thought it was just one of those silly parodies that A-listers like Taylor would just brush off and not waste time looking at. But apparently, she's not one to just shake it off. Here, take a look at her cool, casual payback via Instagram.
Taylor quotes SNL's jokes about her!
Now, next time someone makes fun of you, take a page from Taylor's book and don't just laugh it off - laugh along with them! Nobody messes with Tay Sway.
