While my childhood was spent pretty much like the next girl–studying, playing with Polly Pockets, feeding my pet Tamagochi–this French model has already been featured on numerous fashion magazines and is often gracing the red carpet. And mind you, she's only 15 years old!
Meet the budding supermodel Thylane Blondeau who’s been modeling for over a decade now. Yes, you’ve read that right! She's been catapulted into the industry at the age of four. She was scouted by designer Jean Paul Gaultier on the streets and he then cast her to walk in one of his shows. Since then, she has been spotted in Ralph Lauren and Lacoste ad campaigns. She's also landed on the pages of French and US Teen Vogue, even on the covers of magazines including Vogue Enfants, Jalouse, and L’Officiel Paris.
She also once starred in a controversial fashion spread in the January 2011 issue of Vogue Paris that sparked debates on the hypersexualization of children. But after her quick shot to fame, being signed with IMG Models, and earning a strong following both on Instagram and YouTube, it seems that the controversy has been long forgotten.
Right now, she’s living the jet set life, fronting a L’Oréal Paris campaign, sitting front row at Chanel, and officially making a debut on the Cannes Film Festival red carpet.
With her piercing blue eyes, striking brows, natural pouty lips, and perfect beach waves, Thylane could easily be the new Kate Moss.
