Modernized classics took center stage at Coach AW15, not atypical of a Stuart Vevers brand revamp. The creative director spun edgy, personal touches into Americana pieces — straightforward details such as embroidered biker jackets and plaid peacoats driving home the point of grownup grunge. A powerplay between tough and luxe was evident, especially in the collection's star fabrics: fleece, leather, shearling and silk.
