Tokyo is one of the world’s center stages when it comes to the latest in fashion. And as part of Japan’s Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry, Asian Fashion Meets Tokyo organizes a show that aims to introduce select designers from South East Asia on Amazon Fashion Week Tokyo. Following Indonesia and Vietnam, it’s our country’s turn to flaunt new fashion talents on an international runway. Eponymous labels Carl Jan Cruz, Karen Topacio and Bagasao by Seph Bagasao presented along with local retail giant, Bench.

Karen draws inspiration from Mother Nature in her latest collection of clean silhouettes with laser cut leather details. It’s an ode to the tropics from where she grew up in.
