Let’s take a break from all the drama and controversies amidst the Metro Manila Film Festival this year and pause for a moment to appreciate the fashion extravaganza during last night’s red carpet event. And while the award-giving body has already recognized some of the industry’s local celebs for their acting chops, we here in Style Bible prefer to zoom in on the attendees’ impeccable style that’s equally deserving of the spotlight.
The MMFF’s back-to-back Best Actress awardee sparkled throughout the evening not only because she took home the much-coveted trophy but also because she aced it in the style department. Wearing the color of Christmas, Jennylyn bedazzled everyone in her glittery strapless frock by Martin Bautista. Natch, she kept things classy with her hair down and with minimal accessorizing.
The Haunted Mansion actress stayed true to her sweet image and knocked it out of the park. Pretty in pink in her ruffled one-shoulder dress, Janella Salvador finished off her red carpet look with a bouffant updo and a pair of drop earrings.
With the help of her go-to stylist MJ Benitez, Janine Gutierrez slayed it in the red carpet clad in Vania Romoff’s floral printed and open back dress from the Spring/Summer 2016 collection. The Buy Now Die Later star opted for a clean and sleek low ponytail and a pair of drop earrings to complete her elegant look.
