It seems that Filipino talent is truly going worldwide. Local brand Aranaz becomes an easy favorite of the Queen of Belgium. Known as an advocate of sustainable fashion, Her Majesty Queen Mathilde has been spotted carrying Amina Aranaz-Alunan’s clutches.
Represented by their Belgian distributor A Bag With a Story, Aranaz minaudieres were discovered by the Belgian Queen as she continues to find fashion items that are made from ecologically-sourced materials. Aranaz clutches are known not only for its craftsmanship and artisan but also for using indigenous and eco-friendly materials locally sourced in the Philippines.
Amina shares with us the Queen’s favorites from her collections: The Mira, Gaia and Ginto clutches. She adds that the Queen prefers pieces that are understated but of high-value because they're carefully handmade with eco-ethical materials.
The Mira clutch, according to Amina, is a nude snakeskin minaudiere adorned with semiprecious stones that has a subtle elegance
The Gaia bag, meanwhile, is made out of crushed bamboo and embellished with polished semi precious stones.
The Ginto clutch that the Queen has is a hand-carved kamagong wood clutch lined with abaca fabric, dipped in gold with semi precious stone ornaments.
