Gone are the days of relying on pasabuys or scrolling through their website to score your favorite pieces. The Paper Bunny has finally landed in the Philippines!
On November 7, the Singaporean lifestyle brand officially opened its doors at the Ground Floor of Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City, marking its first-ever store outside Singapore—and it's the largest one to date!

In a quick chat with Preview, founders Jaime Lee and Justin Tan shared that opening a store in the Philippines was two years in the making.
“For a long time now, the Filipinos have given us so much support, so we’ve always known that the Philippines would be our first stop [outside of Singapore],” said Jaime, The Paper Bunny’s creative director.

Justin, who heads operations, added that things just fell into place when they found the Uptown Mall space—situated at the heart of Bonifacio Global City, one of the metro’s prime shopping and business districts.
“In terms of location, we knew BGC was a good spot,” he said. “When we saw the mall and we saw the high ceilings, its location on the first floor, the corner unit… we felt like it was right.”
Staying true to The Paper Bunny’s philosophy of intentional and sustainable living, the new store is designed with a warm, handcrafted touch. Think earthen textures, wooden details, and hand-painted finishes. At the entrance, sculptural pillars frame the space, creating a harmony of raw materials and soft curves to create that distinct Paper Bunny balance of simplicity and sophistication.
Jaime continues, “We want it to be a place of exploration, of discovery, where people can come in, connect, and build their own version of an intentional everyday life through all the products that we have.”
To mark its arrival, The Paper Bunny teamed up with Filipino artist Leeroy New for a special in-store installation.
Right by the entrance shoppers are met with a sculptural centerpiece that captures the essence of both the brand and Filipino artistry. The artwork reinterprets one of the brand’s signature silhouettes, The Arc, using both the brand's own production waste and locally-sourced, discarded materials.
“We really wanted to create something that was meaningful, that was really a symbol of the blending and the meeting of two cultures and two worlds, and this is really the perfect installation for that,” Jaime expressed.
