The Nike Air Presto was first introduced to world in 2000. Whether you were in grade school or high school at that time, we’re pretty sure that you owned a pair of the shoe that almost everyone in school had. Just like our favorite Flyknits today, they were so wearable on the streets, we bet you didn’t even know it was actually a running shoe.
Nike Air Presto: Migraine Fly (2000)
Fun fact: It was named such because when you put the shoe on, it fits so perfectly that it’s almost like a magician saying: ‘Presto’.
The first prototype of the shoe that was meant to change the running game was developed in Korea in 1996 before it was officially launched in 2000. And now 20 years after, the ahead-of-its time sock-like construction of the Presto is getting a makeover in the hit knit variety.
