Transitioning from gym to runway, sneakers have shifted from thick and chunky to totally chic. The now sleek rubber beauties can go from mall-strolling to country-hopping, with a hot new silhouette to boot. The look: a boat shoe’s shape, mashed up with three to four pairs of eyelets, a high tongue, and a combined mid and outer sole—basically turnt up slip-ons with laces, and trimmed soles.

Nike Roshe Run
Since its debut in 2012, Nike’s lightweight and breathable sneaker has gained a growing following across all ages and genders. What with its variations of prints and a version in Flyknit material, it’s pretty hard not to pair it with that drop-waist dress you’ve been saving.
Native Apollo Moc
Enthralling the world of cool, the lightest shoe on earth weighs as much as 23 and a half marshmallows! Travelling will never be the same as its perforated microfiber upper combined with its anti-anti-gravity feature make it the perfect walking shoe, not to mention totally easy to pack. P.S. It looks like suede, but it's not. So yes, it can get wet without ruining the material. Sweet!
adidas Originals Yeezy Boost Low
Kanye West's new babies have a super wearable and uber chic low top version! The combination of its wedged sole, textured print, and little detail of the stitching split down its center made us fall in love at first sight—we honestly don't care if these were made for boys.
Kanye can get the trophy for getting the top score on the hype meter, but the Tubulars are still some lean, mean sneaker machines. They're essentially neoprene socks on top of a tube-shaped EVA sole—lightweight but not flimsy. Adidas knows how to reinvent classic silhouettes, that's for sure.
Skechers Go-Walk City- Uptown
Walking shoes require two things: they have to look good and feel good. The synthetic upper and high rebound footbed make it a fab find. They don't look like your usual Skechers, too.
