With Soo Joo Park leading the pack, the Chanel Cruise 2016 runway show was dominated by models dressed in candy stripes, geometric graphics, and colorful tweeds. All wore black braided hairpieces that were referenced from traditional Korean fashion with doll-like lashes and double pencilled brows. And evidently, not even the busy red carpet of the Met Gala could have stopped Karl Lagerfeld from pulling together a star-studded front row.
The likes of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and Hollywood actors Kristen Stewart, Tilda Swinton and Gaspard Ulliel flocked to Dongdaemun Design Plaza in South Korea to party with other VIPs and witness the unveiling of the French luxury brand’s latest collection.
