The last Lyst is out, and it’s official: Balenciaga is still the hottest brand in the world right now. Every quarter, Lyst releases its definitive ranking of the “hottest” brands of the moment based on each luxury brand’s latest campaigns, releases, and innovations.
Lyst is a fashion tech company that caters to over 160 million app users and 17,000 fashion brands a year. Positioned as an authority on all things fashion, the brand’s Lyst Index analyzes shopper behavior, sales data, and social media engagement to find out what brands are the talk of the town.
For this quarter, Balenciaga won the top prize after its viral Snowstorm show at Paris Fashion Week and its powerhouse campaign with Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber.
Gucci came in second thanks to its second collaboration with The North Face and a stellar year in revenue growth. Louis Vuitton came in third after Virgil Abloh’s final show and the launch of two new ateliers in France.
Prada came in fourth after it appointed Euphoria star Hunter Schaffer as the face of its Spring campaign, and Valentino came in fifth with Zendaya as the face of its Spring campaign.
