The Globetrotter

Soar into the skies in comfort with these four sure-hit looks.
The Globetrotter Soar into the skies in comfort with these four sure-hit looks.

Early morning, late night, or seven hour flights can get extra tiring when you’re not comfortable in what you're wearing. Add delayed departures, crying babies, and turbulent flights to the mix and you’re sure to look haggard by the time you get to your destination (that’s why sunnies are our bffs!). It happens—a series of unfortunate events; but keep in mind exactly why you're traveling. Vacations are meant to be enjoyed, it just so happens that it begins and ends at the airport. Our suggestion, don’t belittle the variables that you can control—level-up on the comfort department without compromising style!

Read on as we teach you four of our airport staples that are of course, comfy and stylish at the same time. Besides, you never know who you’ll bump into or be seated next to, right?

COTTON MAXI

A cotton maxi is a perennial piece that can be dressed up or down. Pair it with a quilted jacket to ensure maximum comfort. Finish it off with strappy flats that you can easily replace with heels if needed.

TRUSTY LEGGINGS

If you’re not into dresses, leggings are a great alternative. They’re more comfortable than wearing jeans and can be styled in a lot of ways. Zip-up this check jacket and wear it with cut-out ankle boots for added style. Don't forget to bring a scarf that can double as a blanket if you plan to sleep on a short flight.

PAJAMA DRESSING

We suggest this ensemble for extra long flights. Pajama dressing is so easy to do now because drawstring, baggy, and slouchy trousers in fun prints and yummy colors are everywhere! Simply add a cotton blazer to the equation and it will instantly make you look polished rather than someone who literally just got out of bed.

S & S (Sweater and Sneaker)

If your trip is relatively short or if you’re off to a warm destination, a sweater dress and sneakers combo would do. Just make sure that it is at least knee-length if not just above the knee; otherwise, you’ll end up looking like you forgot to wear pants. Aside from sunnies, head phones can also be your best friend to keep you from getting bored or hearing unwanted noise.
