Since 1982 and held at the Edgbaston Priory Club in Birmingham, UK, the Birmingham Open is a WTA 125 tournament that is played on outdoor grass courts. It is considered a warm up tournament for Wimbledon and a sister tournament of the Queen's Club Championships, where Alex is competing in next.
