Count on Kathryn Bernardo to give us the daily dose of style that we all need. Since the young celeb still needs to leave the house to fulfill work duties, we are at least treated to more of her cute OOTDs.
One such example was this mannish lewk that had us clapping with delight. She topped off a pair of pleated wide-leg trousers (fast becoming her signature if this video is any indication) with a glen plaid waistcoat, and black skater-style sneakers. But within this monochromatic outfit, our eyes quickly zoomed in on the baby backpack she was sporting.
That cute caramel-colored bag with black straps is Louis Vuitton’s Palm Springs Mini in a Monogram Reverse Canvas. The designer piece retails at P122,000, but upon checking with Louis Vuitton Philippines, it’s currently sold out in the country. The brand did assure that new stocks should be coming in soon.
You’ll remember that the style is actually a celebrity favorite. In fact, Sofia Andres has the same colorway Kathryn does. The style is also available in the label’s signature Monogram Canvas, which Heart Evangelista, Isabelle Daza and Pia Wurtzbach all have.
Practical and pretty, the style is a nod to the ’90s when baby backpacks were all the rage. This one, of course, has gotten quite a luxurious update, and it must be said that the front pocket is the perfect spot to safely stow a face mask when not in use.
