We can’t deny that if there’s one awards show we truly love, it would have to be the Grammys. Don’t get us wrong, we love the glitz and glamour from other various red carpet extravaganzas such as the Golden Globes or the Oscars, but the artists we know and love just seem to have more freedom to show their personalities at this particular annual event―that being said and with our expectations soaring high, we were a bit underwhelmed with the frocks we saw.
What they lack in style at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, they more than made up for in performance. Here's a nod to the power couple Jay Z and Beyoncé's opening act; those unforgettable mashups and collabs including Kendrick Lamar and Imagine Dragons (who killed it!); Pink’s mind blowing acrobatic performance (making us want to hit the gym, stat!); Taylor Swift’s unlimited head banging(because we love her beautiful locks); and that wedding ceremony one will only see at the Grammys. And in doing what we love best, of course we still picked out our best bets of the night. Read on!
BEST IN SPARKLE: TAYLOR SWIFT
This lady may have a crazy love life, but she sure knows her fashion. Always classy and put together, Taylor didn't fail to impress us again in this gold Gucci stunner.
BEST IN DECOLLETAGE: ANNA KENDRICK
The Pitch Perfect star (who also has an Oscar nomination) wowed us in her revealing Azzaro dress. The silver strapless piece with crystal embellishments cut in all the right places showed her assets without being too racy.
BEST IN COLOR: GULIANA RANCIC
Guliana Rancic was bursting with freshness in her full-length Alex Perry orange frock. We were delighted to finally see some color at this year's awards and hers fit the bill.
BEST IN A SUIT: MADONNA
You know we love ladies who can sport menswear, right? Madonna's black red carpet suit and white performance suit were both crisp, chic, and styled by her son David who wore a matching attire. The Ralph Lauren ensemble consisting of a double breasted blazer and wide leg pants were smartly accessorized with a hat and sparkly gloves (the grill and cane are a different story).
BEST DRESSED MALE: RYAN AND MACKLEMORE
The award winning duo clearly had a night to remember, it's a good thing they were dressed to impress! They may have purchased their velvet and houndstooth suits from thrift shops but these fierce fellas surely caught our attention. Not your usual choice but nonetheless Grammy-worthy indeed.

BEST DRESSED COUPLE: BEYONCE AND JAY Z
We don't really feel the need to explain, but not only did they open this year's Grammys with a bang by showing us how marriage can be sexy, they also did not dissapoint with both their performance and red carpet ensembles. Her sheer and feminine floral Michael Costello white gown fit her well and the Nichole de Carle bodysuit, Saint Laurent tights, and custom bra paired with her hubby's three-piece suit only spelled one word: perfection.
