While you were probably savoring your pancakes and browsing through your Instagram feed, H&M and Balmain’s Olivier Rousteing were putting on an epic celebration to formally launch their highly-anticipated collab collection that was nothing short of extravagant. Kendall Jenner opened the show dressed in a fully beaded tunic top and velvet palazzos, followed by a fleet of models that included the likes of Karlie Kloss, Gigi Hadid, and Joan Smalls who #werqed their stuff as dancers twerked theirs. Following that up, Rousteing and the Swedish label also debuted their new ad campaign where we see Kendall and her buds voguing on a moving train, looking fierce as usual.
The real surprise, however, wasn’t in the heavily detailed pieces, the new fragrance, or the MTV. Instead, it was a musical performance from—wait for it—the Backstreet Boys!
Yes, you got that right. Backstreet’s back and everything is suddenly alright as Brian Littrell, Nick Carter, AJ McLean, Kevin Richardson, and Howie Dorough took over the stage and serenaded magazine editors and stylists with hits like Larger Than Life and I Want It That Way. Check out this snippet of the performance as well as the final tableau caught on cam by Preview’s Vince Uy.
Anyone willing to start a petition to bring the boys here?
