Following the release of Taylor Swift's second re-recorded album, Red (Taylor's Version), Swifties worldwide have essentially been having a total field day. In addition to gifting her fans a short film to accompany the 10-minute version of the anthemic track All Too Well, Taylor put out a brand-new music video last November 15 for the song I Bet You Think About Me, a never-before-heard track. The video stars Miles Teller as Taylor's ex-lover, and was directed by Blake Lively. Plus, the cinematography was done by Michael Libatique, a Filipino-American who previously worked on Hollywood hits including A Star is Born (2018) and Black Swan (2010)
The centerpiece of the music video, though, has to be Taylor's extravagant wardrobe. She dons six different outfits, each proportioned and constructed in ways that are completely Met Gala-worthy. In the latter half of the music video, she appears in a dramatic cloud of a wedding gown, which magically turns from white to red.
Both gowns were created by the Taiwanese couture house Nicole + Felicia, a relatively new brand that specializes in extravagant bridal and evening gowns. Their designs typically incorporate a breathtaking volume of sheer fabric, which give their creations a luxe, otherworldly feel. According to the brand, the two couture gown they produced for Taylor took 1,200 hours to complete! This doesn't come as a surprise at all, given that every single bloom on the oceanic skirts had to be sewn in by hand.
In an Instagram post, the brand shared that the buds on the gown were created from organza, while the petals were cut from tulle. The finished gowns were astounding, to say the least!
Nicole + Felicia was founded in 2015 by sisters Nicole and Felicia Chang. They grew up around fashion — their family owns Senasia, a wedding gown company that has been producing dresses for luxury bridal brands like Pronovias.
