How did you end up working together?
“We did two TV series—Boyfriend No. 13 and K-Love—where I was her wardrobe stylist. And then we did some outside work where she tapped me personally as her stylist.”
How long have you been working together since?
“I’ve been working with her for two years now!”
How would you describe Sue as a client?
“Sue is so easy to work with! She’s very collaborative, but she also always trusts my creative instinct on how I envision the look to be put together.”
How has working with Sue impacted your career as a fashion stylist?
“Honestly, it can be very overwhelming that people appreciate my work with her! But styling Sue helped me build my own confidence, and it did help me become better at my craft, too.”
As her fashion stylist, what can you say about her personal style/aesthetic?
“Sue’s style can be seen as a reflection of her own personality—sobrang good vibes lang. She’s never afraid of wearing loud prints and colors. From what I’ve seen, she also slowly gained confidence in showing off some skin and her figure.”
Has your personal relationship developed since you first met? How would you describe Sue as a friend?
“Even considering her super hectic schedule, I really appreciate her as a friend who can still make time to message me. Every time we see each other, walang dull or awkward moments! Whenever we talk, she will let you make kwento about yourself and the conversation is not always about her.”
What's your most unforgettable moment working with Sue?
“The most unforgettable one was the moment that it was officially announced she was playing Lexy in The Broken Marriage Vow. During that time, it was just me and her in a room while waiting for a take [during a taping]. I saw that she was so touched that she cried!”
