Style.Com Reveals E-Commerce Strategy Content is king.

As magazines become shoppable, and shops get their own magazines, here is a website that grew out of a magazine but now wants to be shoppable! Style.com.

A hub for runway photos, reviews and fashion-related articles, the American Vogue-backed site shall become an online storefront for fashion merch, as well as food, wine and travel services. 

Publisher Condé Nast has hired Melissa Dick, ex-editor of ElleUK.com and previously the global editorial director at Asos.com, to be its new editorial director, WWD reported. She will work alongside chief product officer Mo White, formerly of the Net-a-porter Group, whose strategy of using content to drive purchases is exactly what Condé wants.

The new site will first launch in the U.K.
