Beauty Queen Steffi Aberasturi Is Making a Case for Modest Swimsuit OOTDs and We’re All for It

Miss Universe Philippines candidate Steffi Aberasturi has been making waves on social media as of late. The beauty queen representing Cebu Province is a strong contender for this year’s most coveted crown and we can see why. Her looks and charisma have snatched the hearts of many, but beyond her pageant persona is a queen who’s a true-blue island girl.   

A quick scroll through her Instagram would reveal that the 26-year-old is a fan of the sea and sand—she is, after all, hailing from the region with gorgeous beaches aplenty. That said, we noticed the mestiza has a penchant for covered up maillots and high-waist bikinis that harp on modesty. Though there’s nothing wrong with going all hubadera at the beach, it’s equally stylish to step out in swimsuits that give you ample support and coverage when wading in the water or otherwise.

Contrary to what most people think, you can wear them to the beach, too! It’s useful tied over your head to shield you from the sun or as a cool pop of color on your neck. 

2. Modesty on a high!  

Showing off her stature and figure, Steffi looked like a dream in a black cutout one-piece. When donning a high-cut piece, opt for a covered-up neckline to balance out the sexiness. The cut definitely emphasized her legs more which made her look inches taller!

In perfect harmony with the crystal-clear water, Steffi looked like a vision wearing a white ruffled swimsuit top and a high-waist bottom! For beach babes who don’t want to wear a one-piece suit but still want some coverage, its best to pick a bikini in a modest cut.

When life gives you coconuts, you wear a white one-piece swimsuit that matches. The deep-V neckline balances out the modest cut of her suit, making Steffi show skin without really revealing too much. We love how she topped off the look with a straw hat for that authentic Island Girl vibe.  

7. What’s the scoop? A low-back maillot! 

You could never go wrong with a scooped back one-piece! Giving off strong but low-key Baywatch vibes, Steffi stood tall beneath the palm tree while subtly showing off her figure.
