Everywhere, fashion is becoming greener and greener—organic fabrics have become a key selling point, recycling and upcycling is all the rage, and reusable shopping bags de rigueur. Big&Small Company, the clothing group that specializes in trendy clothes for children, pre-teens, and pregnant women, is the latest to announce their support for the Green Movement, teaming up with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF).

“We see this partnership as a way for us to communicate to moms that we can teach our kids at an early age the importance of caring for our environment,” shares Joanna Duarte, President of Big&Small Company. “We are all very excited as we will be able to communicate our standpoint on important issues such as environmental protection, wildlife preservation, and climate change.”

The carrier brands—Big & Small Co., Spin, Orange Juice, and H.A.B.—will showcase the WWF T-shirt collection, carrying slogans like “I recycle, you should too!” and “Love the planet.” Cartoons of endangered animals (dugongs, humpback whales, and turtles) are printed at large on tees to develop awareness of the need to protect these species as well.

“Forward-thinking companies like the Big&Small Co. display brand leadership through vision, innovation, and a responsibility to the environment. Hopefully, the effects will trickle down when the children grow-up,” says Susan Roxas, Marketing and Corporate Relations Head of WWF.

At this point, you might be keen to shop for the kids in your life or possibly wondering if you can squeeze into the bigger sizes of the pre-teen line. So click on to see more of Big&Small Co.'s WWF collection.
