The spirit of the ‘90s takes center stage as Springfield launches its women’s line, Springfield Woman, here in the Philippines. Formerly catering exclusively to the urban young men, the American clothing label now targets the cosmopolitan Pinays to satisfy their taste for everyday, casual fashion.
The new line highlights the feminine silhouette in two ways. The Nearly ‘90s collection is reminiscent of the grunge days of the decade—studded belts, rocker girl tees, and even a red gingham skirt. Other key items are the acid wash skinnies that look so "today" rather than "dated" and all the long and slouchy, falling-off-the-shoulder tops that you could want.
The Classic Rebel collection, meanwhile, creates juxtaposition between the classic staples and biker-chic inspired pieces. A faux leather jacket is in the mix, if you'll be travelling to a cooler climate, or a very cold cinema. Printed tees and studded belts are a few extras that you can insert into your wardrobe.
Prices run at P1,000 to P2000 for certain t-shirt and skirt styles, going just a little over P2000 for the dresses. It's as friendly on the pocket as the men's line.
Springfield is located at Rustan’s Makati, Greenbelt 3, Power Plant Mall, Bonifacio High Street, SM Megamall, TriNoma, Robinsons Place Ermita.
