As Blair Waldorf once said, “the most important parties to attend are the ones you’re not invited to.” And while we like to believe that gatecrashing is beneath us, some can’t seem to let it go and find ways to appear as if they went to a party they were never invited to in the first place. Case in point: Spanish actress Anna Allen lying about attending the 2015 Oscars.
The 32-year old recently uploaded a picture of herself in a black dress she claimed to have worn on the red carpet of Hollywood’s biggest night and shared it with her 22,000 Instagram followers. Not only that, she even boasted to Spanish newspaper El Mundo about chatting with Neil Patrick Harris.
A few editors got suspicious and decided to look into her red carpet photo, which has noticeable irregularities with the lighting. Turns out the photo was taken in a studio then photoshopped onto an Oscars backdrop. Yikes! Adding to it even more, she ripped a photo of the invite from Lupita Nyong’o’s account claiming it as her own.
Anna has then deactivated her social media accounts. Shame on you, girl!
