Local brand Gold Dot proudly creates original Filipino-made statement shoes, while leading international retailer Solestruck carries various footwear brands and designers with unique aesthetics. The site first introduced Gold Dot stateside in 2012 and now are collaborating for their opening campaign of the year.
Gold Dot has always been strongly inclined to mixing the diversity of different fashion eras with the unique, modern-day point of view. This 2013, they name the newest collaboration after renowned shoe lover and style icon, former first lady Imelda Marcos. Dubbed as Imelda13, the campaign—shot in the streets of Manila—is a high-volume '90s inspired lookbook combining key pieces from the brand's SS/13 collection, with top designers from the site’s must-have lists.
