Sofia Andres Is In Spain and She's Been Wearing the Coolest Menswear-Inspired Travel OOTDs

We know Sofia Andres for her mature take on dainty dressing. The 23-year-old actress, entrepreneur, and mom to one makes no secret of her fondness for dresses, classy blazers, and sleek resortwear. This time, however, it seems that she’s venturing into different style territory. She’s been transitioning, if only momentarily, to menswear-inspired ensembles. During her ongoing Spain trip, she’s been trading her tweed blazers for masculine coats, utility jackets, and streamlined unisex trousers. Well-suited to her new lob, the boxy fashion is a cool departure from her usual flavor. We daresay that her Spain lookbook's the beginning of a new style path for her!

8 of Sofia Andres’ Menswear-Inspired Travel OOTDs in Spain: 

1. Looks like houndstooth is getting its moment again. Sofia’s advice: If you’re hesitant to style the staticky print, just wear it over an all-black ensemble. Easy! 

2. Looks like Sofia’s settling into the jacket-over-a-jumpsuit tendency. If you have a jumpsuit in a relatively bold print in your closet, waiting to be worn, take it out immediately and balance it out with a classy black blazer with structured shoulders. Tighten the look with black sunnies and white pointy toe boots, which go with any outfit. 

3. For the coldest of the cold days, layer a belted winter coat over a thick turtleneck sweater, preferably one in a lush tiger print. Wear the cozy combo over warming leggings and black lace-up boots. Further spice up the cool girl look with Lennon-esque tinted spectacles. 

4. Apparently, a houndstooth coat isn’t enough—a snug cardigan version is a must-have, too. Wear it over a black-on-black lewk, complete with black boots. 

5. If you’ll be committing to head-to-toe black, make sure to still make room for some texture. Like Sofia, opt to go for a busy piece, like the multi-pocket and flappy utility jacket, to add depth and texture to the otherwise one-note look. Accessorize with a cap, a structured crossbody bag, and black lace-up boots. 

6. When abroad, embrace hats. They may be too warm to regularly wear in the Philippines, but you’ll totally want the extra insulation when strolling through wintery cities. Wear a plaid coat over a black turtleneck top, black trousers, and austere but trendy leather loafers. 

7. Keeping in line with the black-and-white motif, Sofia then wore a tweed jacket over baggy trousers, and accessorized with a bucket hat from Burberry. Baby Zoe looks super cute, too! 

8. Here, she took a quick break from streamlined trousers and donned a straight-cut leather midi skirt. She teamed it with a taupe turtleneck, a houndstooth puffer jacket, black boots, and a Saint Laurent cross body bag.
