Feeling a little confused on how to get started on Pinterest? Don’t worry, we’ve all been there. Pinterest can be a little overwhelming for a new pinner. But once you get the hang of it, you’ll never go a day without logging on the site at least once. Here are a few tips to help you navigate through the website:
Do pin for yourself.
Pin whatever pleases you, not others.
Do categorize your board.
Categorizing your board will make it easier for other users to find your board. Categories include home decor, women's fashion, travel, and art for example.
Do pin vertical images.
Generally, vertical images look better on your board because they don’t get resized to small rectangles. Pinterest retains a common width.
Do use it as a mood board.

Do pin your own work.
