Sneakers are undoubtedly comfortable, and the right pair can be stylish enough to score serious fashion points for your 'fits–they’re comfy enough to work out and run errands in, but can be styled up for special occasions. As they say, shoes can either make or break your look, which is why a versatile pair of sneakers is a must-have.

This 2021, sneaker collaborations haven't been rare. Artists, designers, and brands have been tirelessly collaborating to create something new and to add fun twists to the classics. With their fresh colorways, details, and cuts, sneaker collaborations will definitely serve as statement pieces for your outfits.

Want to cop one before the year ends? Here are eleven sneaker collaborations of 2021 (so far) that are worth the investment! Take a look.

1. Nike x AMBUSH

AMBUSH is a contemporary Japanese label that has globally & heavily influenced the streetwear scene. Their recent collab with Nike was arguably one of their best moves to date, as they brought one of the most popular silhouettes of Nike to new heights. Following the initial release of the Nike Dunk High x AMBUSH “Black” in 2020, AMBUSH has revealed new zesty colorways for this year’s release – the Flash Lime

In addition to overseeing the menswear labels of both Dior and FendiKim Jones has collaborated with Converse to take the most iconic silhouette of the brand into an elevated classic, literally–his take on the proverbial sneaker features a chunky platform, which is definitely on-trend. The new Converse Utility Wave High comes in two colorways, which gives ode to the Classic Chuck 70’s in Canvas and Black

3. New Balance x Aime Leon Dore

This sneaker collaboration has been named as one of the latest “it” pairs. The dad shoe from New Balance– the 990’s– may have been on trend for the past year, but the NB 550s model, deemed as an '80s basketball shoe style, has officialy been brought back from the archives. Aime Leon Dore came up with three retro looking colorways to achieve that vintage look.

The color block scheme takes inspiration from Fragment’s previous collaboration with AJ1, and is complete with the distinctive low-sitting Swoosh placement associated with Scott.
