As someone who leads an active lifestyle, Slater Young is someone who knows how to keep things streamlined. Whether he's traveling around the world or on location for his company Litecrete Philippines, he's one to keep it easy and fuss-free.
We caught up with the actor and engineer, who shared his 10 favorite items. From Uniqlo's plain black T-shirts to his camera of choice, here are Slater Young's everyday essentials.
1. Packaged Dry Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt
A plain tee is a basic staple for many reasons. For Slater, it's simply for ease of getting ready. "I wear a plain black T-shirt almost every day. It keeps the start of my day simple—one less thing to decide and worry about."

2. Apple Watch
"I have three faces in my Apple Watch that I swipe through as my day progresses. The first face has my morning routine apps (swimming, gym, and meditation), the second face has my workday apps (to-do list and calendars), and the third face has my night time apps (Spotify, meditation, and sleep apps)," he shares.

4. 10% Happier: Meditation
You should be meditating every day. The benefits are endless and, these days, you don't even need to do it by yourself. There are plenty of meditation apps out there that help you deal with... well, all of it. One that Slater swears by is 10% Happier. As he puts it, it's a "life-changing, no-BS meditation app."
Audible isn't only for when you're idle, it's also good for filling up time that's usually wasted such as traffic. "This is how I make the most of traffic—listening to books. If I find I good book, I don’t worry about traffic as much," he says.
6. Onewheel Pint
Slater's most unexpected essential is a Onewheel Pint, a one-wheel electric rideable. "I had this shipped from the U.S., and it's awesome. I always have it in the trunk of my car for quick de-stress runs. It feelsÂthe same as snowboarding."
