Shuvee Etrata Stuns in Rian Fernandez at the GMA Gala 2025

The PBB alum's custom look took over 360 hours to make!

There was no mistaking Shuvee Etrata on the GMA Gala 2025 red carpet. The Cebuana stunner made her entrance in a bespoke Rian Fernandez creation, styled by Cath Sobrevega, Mika Alejo, and Jem Arboleda.

“The gown is adorned with glass beads and transparent micro sequins; the opaque white glass beads are strategically placed to flatter and enhance Shuvee’s hourglass figure,” Cath explains in a brief interview with Preview.

Meticulously constructed for over 360 hours, the piece featured hand-embroidered white glass beads and roses, paired with transparent micro sequins that lent a subtle shimmer to its pristine silhouette.

Opaque white micro sequin beads were strategically placed to contour and highlight Shuvee’s hourglass figure. “The craftsmanship is just incredible,” Cath added, noting that over 15 artisans contributed to the making of the dress. The result was a form-fitting gown intricately hand-embroidered with pristine white glass crystals and delicate rose motifs.

The statuesque column gown is punctuated by motifs inspired by blooming roses. Its defining feature is a sculptural, fabric-manipulated shawl in a deep oxblood hue, draped over Shuvee’s shoulders—a detail that dramatically framed the cutout-detailed bodice.

Styled with fine jewelry from JMA Jewelry and Mix Gems Fine Jewelry, the ensemble was finished with a Blumarine choker that gave the romantic look a contemporary edge. As for her glam, Shuvee’s look was kept radiant and understated—barely-there, dewy skin, bronzy tones, and a soft gloss by makeup artist Thazzia Falek, paired with a sleek half-up hairstyle by Dale Mallari.

In an interview, stylist Cath Sobrevega revealed that Shuvee was deeply appreciative throughout the entire process. “She actually teared up during the fitting and the shoot,” Cath shared. “She kept saying she couldn’t believe she had a team now and a dress that was made especially for her.”

Needless to say, the 24-year-old model-actress was a total head-turner at the gala.
