The Lunar New Year, or more commonly known as the Chinese New Year, signifies the start of a new year in the Chinese lunar calendar. This 2020, the festival falls on January 25th, a.k.a. the official start of the Year of the Rat.
Traditionally, the holiday is meant to encourage well-deserved rest from the year-long labor and to serve as a new beginning. That said, to win the favor of good fortune, it won't hurt to celebrate the much-awaited fete clad in lucky bright red clothes. By sporting red OOTDs or at least incorporating red pieces to your look, the Chinese believe that you will be able to attract a successful year ahead and at the same time scare away bad spirits.
That said, to help you choose the most stylish 'fit for this festival, we round up 15 red pieces that will surely let you ring in the new year on a good start. Shop away!
