Finally, there’s no longer a need to fly off, or ask a favor from a friend abroad, to indulge in a designer-high street collaboration. The most recent collection of Pierre Hardy for Gap is now available at the stores in Manila!
The Parisian accessories designer, who has worked with the likes of Dior and Balenciaga and is currently Creative Director for Accessories of Hermes, has created a single classic style for the season that admittedly adds the minimalist cherry onto the casual brand’s mix of khakis and earth tones. The Mary Jane, which retails at P7950, has a sturdy square heel and a pointed toe that’s been rounded out for comfort. The base color is an easy sandy beige leather that’s complimented with cotton piping in grey, peach, or tone-on-tone beige.
While it’s a lot less trendy than his previous outings, it’s certainly a style that will soldier on through the passing seasons.
