Mikka Padua, founder of eclectic, curated e-shop Seek The Uniq, also happens to be a proud breast cancer warrior. After being diagnosed with the condition in December 2018, she's geared all her energy towards spreading awareness about the disease on her social media channels...in serious, scarved style.
And now, she's set to take her fight to another level! Earlier today, Mikka posted this sneak-peek snap of her wearing a cool graphic-print tee on Instagram:
It's official: A capsule collab with young, fresh local label Neon Island (helmed by pals Chi Gibbs and Aira Medina) is set to drop next week!
"I can easily throw in the towel and wallow in [a] self-pity bubble, but I realized I have been given this platform to use now with greater purpose, [to] promote awareness and to actually help in however way I can," Mikka wrote in the mirror selfie's caption. "I feel so blessed that the duo from Neon Island was immediately onboard with me on this and [ta-da]: A small collection of merch for you to indulge and have a little bit of me and all the millions of women impacted by this disease. And when you do wear it, I hope this will remind them that [the disease] is not their fault," she added.
"The capsule will go live [on Seek The Uniq] next week and all proceeds will directly benefit women impacted by breast cancer who are undergoing treatment and lack provisions to endure the fight," Mikka concluded.
Love that! We can't wait to shop the entire line for a brilliant cause.
