Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably already heard of KC Concepcion’s efforts to help fight hunger as a long-time ambassador of the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP). Aside from personally going to feeding programs, KC has also been making the extra effort to raise more money for the cause. She took part in helping in Nepal after the life shattering earthquake that hit in 2012, even working in collaboration with photographer friend Mark Nicdao to raise funds via an auction. She also launched KC’s Closet, an attempt to find her pre-loved clothes a new home and at the same time gather capital to be able to help more. Reaching out to her friends to join her, the celebrity bazaar started gaining popularity and proved to be a success.

KC and WFP use food as incentive for primary school children to attend and stay in school, and what’s nice about her site is that below the price of each of her pieces, you will see exactly how many meals your purchase is equivalent to.
