We don't know about you, but for us, one of the things we absolutely loved about the final episode of Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha was the fact that Yoon Hye-jin (Shin Min Ah) took the reins and proposed to Chief Hong (Kim Seon Ho). We're all for empowered K-drama leading ladies who refuse to cave in to the rules dictated by society. Defying the norm, our Ms. Dentist knew what she wants and didn't feel the need to wait for the guy to pop the question first—she went ahead and did the proposal herself! Sure, Hong Banjang was planning on asking her too anyway, but it was a true power move by Hye-jin and we applaud her for it.
Speaking of which, if you're going to propose to your soulmate, you better make sure you're dressed to impress! And naturally, when it comes to fashion, Hye-jin is not one to disappoint. Our fave leading lady definitely pulled out all the stops to look her best for the special moment. She was her usual ladylike self clad in Ports 1961's red-and-cream printed midi dress with a mock neck and a statement bow, which she paired with a pink shoulder bag from Miu Miu. To finish off her proposal look, she slipped into her favorite pair of Roger Vivier heels—yup, the very same ones that Chief Hong found and restored for her after she lost them in the ocean. Talk about sentimental value!
