We can’t expect anything less from this fashionable K-drama leading lady.

We know, we know. You’re sad that your fave K-drama (perhaps the best one you’ve watched this year), It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, has come to an end. We feel you because we can’t get over it, too. While we’re sad to close the book on the story of Ko Mun-yeong (Seo Ye Ji) and Moon Gang-tae (Kim Soo Hyun), another thing we’ll miss dearly is, of course, the fashion.

IOTNBO was a melting pot of designer clothes, jewelry, and luxury timepieces that were worn by none other than Korean actress Seo Ye Ji. Well, aside from these, she was also lucky to have donned designer bags that we could only dream of toting ourselves. Most of the bags are new designs from well-loved brands. What we love about her choice of arm candy though, is how they strike a balance between timelessness and modernity. You’ll see what we mean by checking out our roundup below:

In case you didn’t know, Episode 16 saw Mun-yeong donning a head-to-toe Louis Vuitton outfit, which included a Capucines Mini bag. Launched in 2013, LV’S Capucines quickly became one of the brand’s most iconic designs. Its timeless trapezoid shape and leather-wrapped monogram are constantly reinterpreted. We love how Mun-yeong went for her go-to color, black, but chose a Capucines with a pink handle for a modern accent. It’s so cute!

Mun Yeong was spotted wearing this Chanel bag in the last episode but this piece made its debut last year on the Metier d’Art 2019 runway, where it was worn with a heavily beaded collared dress. This Kiss-Lock bag is made with Chanel’s signature quilted lambskin leather accented with gold hardware. Think of it as a grown-up version of your childhood lunchbox!

Leave it to Mun-yeong to choose the most eye-catching Lady Dior design there is! The iconic Lady Dior comes in everything from matte leather to patent leather in classic colors and pastel hues, but nothing is as dazzling as this metallic gold one! The subtle shine brings out the texture of the signature Cannage pattern, too.

4. Dolce & Gabbana Devotion Micro Bag

Although the micro trend soared to insane heights last year (we blame Jacquemus!), remnants of the trend still exist this year, as seen on the Spring/Summer 2020 runways of Valentino, Chanel, and Fendi. Dolce & Gabbana shrunk a bag to the smallest size possible, and so, the Devotion Micro Bag was born. It’s just like your regular top handle bag with a detachable strap, except extremely tiny. You may not be able to store more than a piece of tissue and some coins, but the details are insanely well-crafted—just look at that bejeweled, golden heart with pearl inlay! Mun-yeong sure has great taste.

Although Mun Yeong’s style started to gravitate towards more feminine pieces in the latter half of the show, she still couldn’t resist pandering to her obsession with black, as seen in Episode 10. She added a little moodiness to her dainty outfit in the form of a mini Tod’s handbag. Featuring the brand’s T monogram as the statement buckle, it’s crafted with patent python leather, that adds a classic yet edgy vibe to any look.

By now, you will have noticed that Mun Yeong has a thing for tiny bags (in an attempt to not carry her excess baggage, perhaps?), so we weren’t surprised to see that she also got her hands on this vanity bag from ultra-feminine brand Chloé. Plucked from the Chloe C line, this vanity bag is delicately crafted with calfskin embossed with a luxurious crocodile effect. Don’t be fooled: Its interior is quite roomy and even has a coin purse, card slot, and strap for sunglasses. Just the essentials, right Mun Yeong?

The Story Bag in Natural, €1790 (approximately P103,358.18), ALEXANDER MCQUEEN, alexandermcqueen.com

Rustic elements seem a little uncharacteristic for Mun Yeong, given her bold, haute couture style, so we were surprised when she wore this raffia Alexander McQueen bag. It's unexpected but we’re here for it! Made with crisp raffia and lined with tan leather, The Story bag features brass hardware for a luxurious touch. It’s a discreet yet fabulous piece that complements her white puff-sleeved eyelet dress. Great styling, Mun-yeong!

Two-Toned Small GV3 Bag in Leather and Suede, P119,000, GIVENCHY, givenchy.com

Let’s backtrack to the very first episode, shall we? When Mun-yeong was having lunch and didn’t want to be bothered, her only weapon (before she stole that knife) was a clean-cut GV3 bag from Givenchy. Made with goatskin leather and grat suede, this crossbody bag features the brand’s iconic double-G logo as the clasp, accented by a drooping gold chain. There’s a sharpness to this design that Mun Yeong obviously couldn’t resist.
