Sneakerheads will tell you that Converse, your beloved canvas sneaker brand, is actually now owned by Nike. The Chuck II will be available on July 28 and comes in four colors:

Black, White, Salsa Red and Sodalite Blue. (Comes in Hi-Top or Low-Top)

The new release looks a whole lot like the original except it has added an arch support (finally!), cushioned soles (a.k.a. a Lunarlon sockliner - a Nike technology), breathable lining (super soft, micro suede), a padded non-slip tongue and thicker premium canvas.
