We take you from north of the Philippines to North America.
SB EDITORS' TRAVEL DIARY: SUMMER 2015 We take you from north of the Philippines to North America.

Quoting J.R.R. Tolkien, "Not all those who wander are lost." See where we found ourselves basking in the summer sun—or, well, playing with snow.

ANNA CANLAS, Editor in Chief

Anna Canlas

Destination: Olympic Sculpture Park, Seattle

Weather: 18°C, Mostly Cloudy

#OOTD: Sleeveless in Seattle. (Trademark tank top, Madewell silk midi skirt, All Black cutout loafers, navy dress socks, Muji denim jacket—shrugged off 'cause it got warm, Cos minibag)

Must: Come by Richard Serra and Alexander Calder sculptures in this outdoor museum with a view of the iconic Space Needle. Elsewhere: Visit the crazy big Starbucks flagship, shop at Totokaelo, eat a quinoa salmon bowl at Talulah's and, as per Mike Concepcion's reco to my sister (he was hiking in town that same week), don't miss Elliott Bay Book Company.

Nikki Santiago Rivera

Destination: Alberta, Canada

Weather: 12°C, Mostly Sunny

#OOTD: Thanks to the immense heat of the sun, there was no need to throw on layers upon layers of heavy clothing in spite of the (melting) ice. (H&M coat, Nike Womens joggers, Nike Free 4.0 running shoes)

Must: Drive up to Jasper National Park for the most stunning alpine and glacial vistas (Canadian Rockies). Walk on glass at the edge of a cliff (Glacier Skywalk)—about 1000 feet over the valley. Step out onto the ancient Athabasca Glacier on the surface of the Columbia Icefield. Then, head on over to Banff National Park and ride to the top of the Sulphur Mountain via the Banff Gondola. Take your #OOTDs by Lake Louise or discover the rugged paradise richly steeped in history, native folklore and geology while on the Banff Lake Cruise at Lake Minnewanka. Finally, keep your eyes peeled for black bears, grizzly bears, mountain goats and elks along the highway.

ZOE LAURENTE, Associate Fashion and Beauty Editor

Zoe Laurente

Destination: Boracay

Weather: 31°C, Mostly Sunny

#OOTD: Melting like a popsicle under the Boracay sun. (Nothing But Water bikini, Bershka skirt)

Must: Chori burgers are the best cure to last night’s hangover. If you’re feeling a little cheesy, head over to Two Seasons and order yourself a four cheese pizza. (You don’t even need to share.)

BEA JOCOM, Editorial Assistant

Bea Jocom

Destination: Kyoto, Japan

Weather: 27°C, Mostly Sunny

#OOTD: After days of raining, it was relatively sunny that day in Kyoto. It was the perfect time to pull out my cap and crop top from my luggage. (H&M cropped sweater, Zara denim skirt, Jack Purcell X Converse sneakers, H&M Men snapback)

Must: Make sure to bike around during the day, watch out for Geishas in Gion, and eat in Dotonbori for dinner.

MARJ RAMOS, Editorial Assistant

Marj Ramos

Destination: Baluarte, Vigan, Ilocos Sur

Weather: 31°C, Mostly Sunny

#OOTD: I opted for something comfy while exploring the city, plus a wide brim hat to combat the summer heat (Cotton On striped maxi dress, Keds sneakers)

Must: Do NOT leave without having a taste of Ilocos empanada, or it's like you didn't visit Vigan at all.
