Rosanna Ocampo: Pre-holiday 2010 The designer brings us 1920s-inspired party frocks.

The Roaring Twenties is a fount of inspiration for many designers with its rich history and notorious display of frivolity, excess, and lavishness. Les années folles, "the crazy years," designer Rosanna Ocampo calls this magnificent era, the allure and decadence of which she has long been drawn to. She drew inspiration from its bedazzling romance for her latest collection, which is a capsule one preceding her Holiday 2010 collection.

For the first time, she worked with lace to come up with eight party-perfect frocks that embody the romance of that golden age. She added glittering paillettes and sequins to lace and mixed it with jersey and tulle cut in sexy silhouettes with a variation of tiered, ruffled, and sashed ultra-short hems. The result? A small but pretty selection of feminine, glittery holiday dresses that call forth the glamor of that enchanting era.
