We're guessing luxurious sneakers are hot this season because Givenchy's creative director, Riccardo Tisci has unveiled his capsule collection with famous sneaker brand, Nike.
The four styles of trainers, ranging from mid-calf to knee-high styles, are inspired by Air Force 1. The collection will come in two waves, the first in white on March 1, then black on April 1.
When asked why he chose Air Force 1 as the theme of the collection, Riccardo responds, "The shoe is universal yet somehow very personal," he explains. "For me the Air Force 1 is not about gender, it's not about a particular city, nor is it about a certain style. The community decides. It's democratic. It's love."
