1. Report Shows Nearly Half of Kim Kardashian's Instagram Followers Are Fake

In the world of Instagram, posting aesthetic photos is just half the battle. You also have to rake up followers to build your clout. And when it comes to celebrity accounts, the number of organic and fake followers they have is usually a subject of discussion. London-based school The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance (ICMP) conducted a study on this, which reveals which celebrities have the most fake followers on Instagram and Twitter. On their site, they posted the results after running the celebs' "Instagram and Twitter handles through IG Audit and Sparktoro's fake Twitter follower's tool to measure what percentage of their following was actually real." The results show that nearly half of Kim Kardashian-West's followers on Instagram are fake. TV host Ellen Degeneres top the list, too, followed by K-pop sensation BTS. Kourtney Kardashian, Taylor Swift, and Ariana Grande are also on the top five slots.
