The Philippine Red Cross has been helping out our brothers and sisters who have become victims of various calamities. A recurring dilemma they've been having to deal with is that not all clothing donations are wearable. This year alone, they have received two tons of clothing donations and although they gladly accept and appreciate the overwhelming amount, not all are necessarily appropriate to be given to the victims such as designer gowns, leather jackets, coats, and crop tops. Besides, the immediate supplies that these affected people need are food, water, and medicine kits.

And because it would be a shame to put these items into waste, they’ve come up with a brilliant idea of hosting the first-ever Red Cross used-clothes fundraiser: the Red Cross Aid Couture.

With the support of Ariel and Downy, all these chic essentials have been restored to look and smell as good as new.
