If you follow her blog, you already know that Jenni Epperson loves to write about fashion and food, so it was only natural that when given the opportunity to write a book, it revolved around these two topics. “Fashion + Food: Entertaining at Home in Style” is easily a modern Pinay’s guide to making any meal a celebration.
Jenni’s conveniently arranged the contents by occasion. Whether it’s big events like Birthdays or Christmas or any day affairs like Girl’s Night In or Sunday Brunch, she’s laid out plans for the menu, table settings, and even what to wear!
The pages are laden with inspiring photos taken by her hubby Tom Epperson (she said they would do their shoots until the wee hours after their two kids had gone to bed) and cute illustrations by Soleil Ignacio and Kris Abrigo. Even the book’s design and lay-out by Dix Perez, who’s worked with Jenni in the past, makes it an easy and delightful read; what with her trivia and insights highlighted to seemingly arm you with the right quotes to get your dinner conversation going.

At the book launch last December 6, a tearful Jenni came on stage to thank everyone present, especially her family, for coming to support her that night.
